Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.

Yesh. It is MAH BIRFDAY today~!

Annnyyywaayyyss.

So, Last night at about 11:00 pm I started drawing some Akatsukis~ I was drawing some DeiSaso (YES PLEASE.), and somehow Dei kept coming out Seme-ish and Sasori Uke-ish. I just CANNOT draw Sasori seme-ish. XD Dei I can go both ways, but Sasori.... I don't know why at all. XD And then, I drew Dei all uke-ish so I could draw Sasori all seme-ish, but... They both came out Uke. XD Anywho, I filled the page with some yummy DeiSaso (Very cute, mind you. Not any smutty stuff~ Just some Fluff. XD) and started the next page with a small Kisame. ^^ Going on to draw Itachi next to him, then a very masculine (

) Zetsu under, first without his cloak and plant-thing, then with both, and then everyone else. All 11 Akatsuki members on ONE PAGE! Actually, Tobi, Hidan, Kakuzu, and Orochimaru (He was in the Akatsuki, and I love him just as much as every other Akatsuki member! Except Dei, he's always been #1

. And Konan. I am straight, she would be a friend. Maybe even a good friend. Not any more. XD) this morning, and polished everyone up. ^^ They all turned out soooo goood. But....

My printer has a virus (I WTF'ed at that when my dad told me.) so I can't scan it. I have no working camera. I cannot teleport it to everyone in the world. So, I cannot show all of you my lovely Akatsukis. TT^TT

That project also showed me how seme-ish and uke-ish the Akatsuki really are. XD

Will update more later today or tomorrow. ^^

EDIT JUNE 18 12:08 A.M.: My family got me a beautiful painting, it's hanging on my wall right now.

My family also got me A small Easel and it has drawers that have Acrylic paint, Oil paint, Watercolor paint, Artist pastels, Oil artist pastels, 2 different drawing pencils (HB and 2B) a pencil eraser, 2 canvas boards, a watercolor paper pad, a plastic paint holder thing (Forget what they're called. XD), and a wooden one too! ^^ I sketched on a normal piece of paper n it, it's really comfy. And I was on the ground too! XD And, tomorrow we're going to get sunglasses and possibly some more canvas boards!

I can't wait to paint~!
